Rock of ages: an epic night of fun!

Don’t stop believing was just one of the amazing songs covered in this stunning musical and you’re sure to know the rest in this show packed with tons of attitude, humour and outstanding performances all round. Oh theatre I have missed you so! Songs such as ‘I want to know what love is’, ‘I can’t fight this feeling’ and ‘Dead or alive’ and loads more rocking hits made this show impossible not to love. Kevin Clifton showed flare and confidence in the role of Stacee Jaxx and throughout showed his flexibility as a rock god character. Joe Gash delighted the audience as the charismatic and engaging Lonny, every time he came on stage he had them in the palm of his hand and had some of the best one-liners. Rhiannon Chesterman absolutely shone as Sherrie with vocals that got everybody moving. Luke Walsh was her perfect rock partner who lit up the room. Jenny Fitzpatrick was a siren with her stunning vocals that were out of this world playing the feisty character of Justice. Ross Dawes playing Dennis Depree showed the young people a thing or two and proved that older rockers still have it. The comedy duo Regina and Franz were a joy on stage and had the crowd rooting for them from the beginning. Gabriella Williams and Andrew Carthy were just phenomenal and their chemistry electric. Shout outs also go to the amazing cast of musicians and ensemble who gave the show such depth and added to the atmosphere of it all.

Erin Bell and Phoebe Samuel-Gray in particular stood out with their strong moves and charisma on stage, your eyes were drawn to them and Janine Somcio and Siobhan James proved that they could build the city on rock and roll with beautiful moves. Vas Constanti, Morgan Scott, Scott Hayward, Sam Turrell, Joshua Dever and Adam Strong were a strong force together bringing the stage to life with amazing routines and energy. It was also great to see some super talented musicians up there on stage giving it some serious skills! What an evening!

The tour started at Darlington Hippodrome tonight 23rd November and runs until Saturday 27th November. There are some great tickets still available, trust me you cannot miss it! This is no run of the mill tribute show, it’s hilariously funny, captivating and uplifting and we all need to let our hair down sometimes. Honestly I was blown away by it, It’s just the ticket!
