stick it to the man! School of Rock Newcastle royal 28/3/22-2/4/22

The crowds in Newcastle last night were desperate to stick it to the man and rock out to the fantastic energetic and quite frankly hilarious rock musical last night. Andrew Lloyd Webber had the ambitious idea to star children who play their own instruments into this amazing show and it really made all the difference to the show’s believability and energy. The talent on the stage was very clear to see and Jake Sharp as the hilarious aged rocker Dewey Finn brought everyone together so effortlessly, it really was like watching Jack Black in the role dare I say it, even better!!!! Matthew Rowland and Nadia Violet Johnson impressed as Ned Schneebly and long suffering partner Patti De Marco. Rebecca Lock showed off her amazing vocals as the headteacher Rosalie Mullins trying to stop her school from rocking out but in the end failing! What a fantastic way to spend an evening, do catch it if you want an uplift from the real world and connect with your inner rock God!
