So my Friday night became amazing when I took my daughter along to the hilarious Stranger Sings shown at The Glasshouse in Gateshead last night!
Wow! Just wow! What a show and the 80’s nostalgia and memories just never stopped all evening meaning we just had THE best time. Not that she was alive in the 80;s but still I talked about it anyway!!! Coco is more invested in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things and we’ve watched it in it’s entirety together having lots of fun along the way.
From the moment you step into the stage area you’re fully immersed in the show and era. With nostalgic sounds playing you feel like you’re with the cast all the way and when you finally meet them, they’re kind of like old friends. The young dynamic cast bound onto the stage commanding your attention and bringing you all of the hilarity and in jokes you ever needed.
A show perfect for fans of the show but just as importantly the parents who remember the era the first time round. Great fun!
(And I can’t get the Gummy bears theme tune out of my head from the interval soundtrack….you’re welcome!)
Tickets gifted from The Glasshouse international centre for music.
There are loads of fantastic shows coming up at this stunning venue, to find out more do take a look here:

I’m Cassie, a mum of 3, (most of the time I haven’t had chance to straighten my hair or drink a hot cup of tea) trying to juggle life as we all are and failing some of the time, but try and see my glass as half full!
